A graveyard or a cemetery is a type of home that is featured in the Sims series, which is a special type of community lot in The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4 franchise. Also called Sims 2 Graveyard.

That’s the place where the headstones of deceased Sims are placed after they die in the game. At these places, Ghosts frequently appear and can haunt cemeteries in the whole series.

Home Cemeteries

Cemeteries are constructible on Sim’s franchise since the first The Sims. The famous Goth Family is known for its cemeteries found outside their homes in almost every game.

Another, Specter family is also known as famous for having a huge amount of graves in their garden side.

The Capp Family has a graveyard as well, but it’s not as large as the Specter Graveyard. This family is the only one who has both the tombstones and urns, two of them are placed in their living room. Let’s talk about community lot cemeteries now.

Community lot Cemeteries

The Sims 2 Nightlife has also added the ability to move some graves from one lot to another which makes it possible to move cemeteries to be on community lots.

When shipped with Nightlife the Downtown includes Gothier Green lawns cemetery which is the first cemetery found on the community lot. Some members of the Tricou Family is also featured on Gothier Green Lawns and also right next to their home.

Also, in belladonna Cove, there is also a community lot named Gamesend Grounds,  which is also a cemetery according to its details, but a glitch prevents graves from appearing.

Pleasantview Graveyard

The Pleasantview Cemetery has some different sections for all the sims families such as the Goths, Lotharios, Pleasants, Burbs, Brokes, and Dreamers.

Also, there is another room at the back for random sims. There are also some small bushes, commonly those are grave markers, but you can easily remove them out.

Each and every section of a family has customizable 16 plots and two areas in the black have 10 plots each.

Thus making it a total of 116 plots, but you can re-arrange to accommodate dozens more if you like.

You can also use this cemetery for any type of hood you want, but most people customize it while keeping Pleasantview in mind.
