    Inductive Positioning System PMI80-F90-IE8-V15

    • Sensor version

There are two different versions of the inductive positioning system F90.

In version PMI80-F90-IU-V1, the positioning system provides current and voltage signals to the output. This is proportional to the position of the damping element.

In addition to the current signal, version PMI80-F90-IU-V1 offers the possibility to teach with two switchings.

Simply press a key directly on the sensor to point independently of each other and express as follows.

Two switch outputs. The output status of the two switch outputs is indicated by two additional LEDs.

    Version PMI…-F90-IU-V1

    Output signals: 4 mA … 20 mA and 0 V … 10 V

    Version PMI80-F90-IU-V1

Output signal: 4 mA … 20 mA and 2 programmable switching stages

    • PMI programming…-F90-IE8-V15

Sensor PMI…-The F90-IE8-V15 is equipped with two small keys on the back that are placed in slightly recessed positions to program the switching points. The key is labeled “teach-in”

Switching points S1 and S2 of switching point S2.

Follow these steps for a switch point teach-in.

-The damping element for position detection must be placed at the desired position, that is, at the teach-in switching point.

-Next, activate each of the two push buttons for at least 2 seconds. The associated switching status LED will start blinking, indicating that the sensor is in “teach-in mode”.

-Press the key again to confirm the desired switching point. The switching state LED stays lit unless the damping element is moved.

This completes the switchpoint teach-in. Adjustable range of actuator ± 1mm

At the learned switching point, the associated switch output switches to the active state.

    • Attenuation factor

The inductive positioning system F90 is optimally tuned as follows:

    Shape of damping element

    • Installation and operation

    Installation notes

    -Flash installation is possible.

-Induction positioning system F90 can be installed side by side in rows to extend the measurement range (not only side by side)

No minimum distance (one after another).

    -Distance between measurement fields (

The fixed base or fixed element of the front of the sensor) and damping element must be at least 3.

    • Operational notes

When the damping element leaves the measurement range:

-The last valid value is maintained at the voltage output (PMI… -F90-IU-V1 only) until the damping element is again in the valid range.

-The last valid value is retained for 0.5 seconds at the current output (all types). Then output

It changes to a fault current of 3.6mA until the damping element is in the effective range again.

-The switching stage holds its current state for 0.5 seconds. After that, the active switch output changes to the stationary state (“open” position).

    • Definition of measurement range / measurement position

The measured position of the damping element (actuator) points to half its width (center of the actuator).

The measurement range starts and ends when the damping element overlaps the labeled measurement area.

Do not use this product for applications where human safety is ensured.

It depends on the correct device function.

This product is not a safety device according to the EC Machinery Directive.

If no switching point is confirmed within 80 seconds, the sensor will exit “teach-in”

Select Mode to continue with the previous value.

If you use your own damping element,

The width of the active surface of the damping element is exactly 8 mm,

The width of the entire sensor.

Different widths directly affect what is achievable

    System resolution and accuracy.

  • IT Service and Support – How to Choose an IT Service and Support Provider

IT Service and Support – How to Choose an IT Service and Support Provider

Choosing an IT service and support provider can be an overwhelming prospect. With so many players on the market, the choice is puzzling and there are many factors to consider. We have created this guide to help you identify the most important factors to consider when choosing a partner for your IT service and support.

    Business focus

We mention this first because it is by far the most important factor. Do you think this IT service and support provider really understands your business? Do they know how you work, how customers find you, and how do you meet their needs? Do they really control your internal processes?

You should be able to speak to your IT support and service provider on purely business terms. In other words, you need to be able to explain the problems you face or the results you want to achieve, without even referring to specific software, hardware, or technologies. Your IT service and support partner should be able to build a bridge between your expressed needs and the technical details of your solution, and explain your proposal in terms that you can easily understand.

    Cultural adjustment

There is more to the business approach than just the basics of operational details. Cultural factors are also important. Will this IT service and support provider fit in?

Remember, members of this IT service and support team will visit your facility, interact with your staff, and possibly train them on how to use new software and hardware. New IT systems bring change, and change is something that many people find difficult. You’re looking for people who can offer the right level of tactful and patient IT support, regardless of the level of technical expertise your team has.

    Quality of proposals

If you are considering investing in IT or an ongoing IT service and support contract, you will want your potential vendor to submit a written proposal outlining their recommended approach. As you review it, here are some questions to consider:

    • Is the proposal legible? Has the supplier made an effort to express his ideas in plain language so that you can understand him as a general business person? Have the technical terms been explained or can you easily request an explanation from the supplier?
    • Are the prices clear? Are you sure the price you see is the price you will pay for your IT service and support, with no hidden extras?

Can you compare? Has the IT service and support provider made it easy for you to compare like-for-like and confirmed that they are priced competitively?

Are the third-party brands included in the proposal reassuring? Is the IT support and service provider proposing leading and recognized IT brands or proprietary solutions you’ve never heard of?

Does it feel tailor-made? Do you have the feeling that the vendor has really tried to build a solution around the IT service and support needs of your business, or is it trying to push you towards the products you prefer?

  • Want Better Power and Performance In Your Powerstroke? Get It With Ford Diesel Performance Parts

Want Better Power and Performance In Your Powerstroke? Get It With Ford Diesel Performance Parts

Ford visualized it all. The power and thrill you feel every time you step on the pedal. The aftermarket industry had the same vision by expanding Ford diesel performance parts to improve truck performance and power.

As the Ford 7.3 Powerstroke Glow Plug kit engine rolls out of the assembly with improved fuel economy and serious traction, the aftermarket industry takes over, adjusts it and gives a little extra Oomph for true Ford enthusiasts. I did.

Ford diesel trucks are really an American favorite. By design, Ford created a truck that Americans love. Sure, Ford has some flaws found in different models, but there are diesel performance parts that complete the overall design.

Ford’s popularity remains strong today, but with the economy declining and diesel fuel prices rising, people are always looking for more economically efficient ways. Performance mods help improve the mileage of diesel engines, especially when compared to their petrol truck counterparts.

Fuel economy is everyone’s favorite and is clearly the first option for a good upgrade. There are several factors that affect fuel economy, but one of the most cost-effective is to install a regulated return. This is a surefire way to improve both ride quality and mpg.

Performance chips also affect fuel economy, which works in a variety of ways. All of these can be customized to suit your personal needs and requirements. These upgrades can be done in the form of a handheld tuner that simply connects to the track’s diagnostic port at the bottom of the dashboard. Then load the selected new program into your system. Whether you want to power up your Ford diesel engine for cross-country trekking capabilities on the truck, or for a cruising adventure on the highway, you can fine-tune it using the power settings feature. Boat or trailer.

If you are aware of the possible savings you can squeeze out of your fuel costs, you can go to an economical setting that allows your engine to increase fuel efficiency. Such upgrades also allow real-time monitoring of critical engine parameters, which is convenient.

Another great idea for a fuel efficient upgrade is the installation of a cold air intake. This particular intake system is a large filter sealed from hot engine air. Cold air is denser and occupies less space than hot air, allowing more air to be taken into the engine. This means that diesel engines can now burn fuel more efficiently.

The best way to buy diesel performance parts is online, where you can compare prices, terms and shipping fairly quickly. Some diesel performance sites also have a very detailed parts installation guide that you can download for free.

  • Things You Must Do In Order To Properly Homeschool Your Kids

Are you thinking about home school? Is your child having difficulties? Do you feel the need to spend more time together? Whatever your particular situation, home school may be the answer. Continue reading this article to learn more. You will discover some fabulous advice to help you decide if this is the right choice for you. Know what your educational approach will be before you begin homeschooling. Whether you choose to go with a standard school type of environment and education, or if you prefer to focus on specific fields of study that interest your child, you should determine this up front. You will have clear goals to work towards, and the approach can be reevaluated at the start of each school year.

    Tips to consider:

    1. You don’t have to be perfect! Even teachers make mistakes, and it’s all a part of the learning process for yourself and your children. Take your time, relax and know that you can teach your kids a lot when you do flub. The more mistakes you make, the better a teacher you will become.
    2. You may not prefer your kids socializing with kids at public schools, but the interaction they get is important. Schedule pay dates with other family members or neighbors. Get out of the house with your kids and take them to the park so that they can play there with other kids, too. There are a lot of other clubs, such as scouts, or even team sports they can participate in.
    3. When you home school your child, you take on more than the role of teacher. Actually, you’ll also have to be the cafeteria worker, physical education coach and possibly even a counselor. Consider the responsibilities each title carries as you plan out your daily schedule and routine. Prepare lunches in advance, schedule outdoor time and make yourself available for emotional support and motivation.
    4. Find a support group of other homeschool parents. When you teach your child at home, sometimes you may feel isolated. The support group can help you deal with problems and issues that are complex. You can benefit from the sharing of different perspectives and approaches, and you can apply these to your own curriculum.
    5. Homeschooling has to be fun! Excitement helps a child want to learn, and the more you can provide, the better. While creating the lesson plans, the teaching itself, procuring supplies and other tasks related to your new job can be frustrating, the end result is so positive that you should consider it as you trudge through your day. Include activities which are fun for both yourself and your kids, such as cooking, music lessons and acting scenarios out (don’t forget to dress up!)
    6. Contact your state’s Homeschool Association to learn the guidelines and laws that you must abide by. What you have to adhere to varies greatly from coast to coast. You must also reach out to someone in your school district to verify your homeschooling intentions. Otherwise you may find yourself subject to truancy charges.
    7. Are you going to homeschool more than one kid? Take the time to evaluate the work involved and whether you can realistically do it before just jumping in. Clear rules are a basic necessity for a structured and smooth-running learning environment. Understanding your individual disciplining style can allow you to tweak it to work for your classroom.
    8. Make technology a part of your curriculum, but not for everything. Also, do not rely on internet connections, as they can break down at a bad time. Have a few backup plans in place so you’re able to continue teaching if something goes wrong with the Internet.

    Closing Notes:

There are many lessons that you could include many different ages of kids in. You can take a virtual tour of a new city on the computer. Older kids can learn about the history while the younger kids can learn about the languages spoken and easier topics that are age appropriate. It is a great way to get the entire family involved with the learning process. Did that help you? Ideally, you learned a bit about home school, and what it means. There are a number of other resources online that can help you. Continue to explore the topic. Then, you can make the best decision for you and your family. If it seems viable, do it!

Things You Must Do In Order To Properly Homeschool Your Kids

  • Useful Advice If You Are Thinking About Homeschooling Your Child

Useful Advice If You Are Thinking About Homeschooling Your Child

There are so many options for them if they have a good education. This might mean that homeschooling is a great option for your family, so read on to learn some tips that will help you succeed with homeschooling. Every state has specific laws regarding homeschooling. It is up to you to understand what your state requires of you as a parent, and your child as a student, when it comes to homeschooling. Look at your state’s educational website, as well as your county school board’s site to fully understand the expectations.

    Tips to Consider:

    • Textbooks are important but they should not be your only tool. Have your child read lots of different materials. Have your children read articles that will help them keep up on current events. They can analyze the situation which is a skill they’ll be using for the rest of their life.
    • While most states require that homeschooling programs teach a standardized core curriculum, the fact that you are working one-on-one with your student also usually translates to significantly more free time. Consider allowing your child to choose which elective courses they want to take to fill this time, or hire a tutor to supplement comprehension in the tougher subjects.
    • Cook bulk meals a couple times a week. Having a few dinners frozen and ready to heat and eat in the freezer can make crazy days better. Worrying about what you are going to feed your family as you are trying to homeschool will make things more stressful than they need to be.
    • Homeschooling is not complete without a library card. The library is the greatest resource you will find for homeschooling. With varied offerings like textbooks, music, movies and of course, books, you will have nearly everything you need at your fingertips. The library are also great for field trips during the week for the kids.
    • Before you begin homeschooling, be cautious of the discipline being used in your home. Each home has a special kind of “discipline” or training that should also be put to use when homeschooling. Know whether the relationship that you have with your children will make this easier or harder, so that you can make any necessary adjustments.
    • Know your shortcomings. It is unlikely that any parent can singlehandedly teach their child everything they need to know from kindergarten through 12th grade. There are several options for upper-level courses. For instance, online high school and distance learning programs can help your child succeed in the later grades and prepare for the GED and college.
    • While many modern homeschooling programs come with a recommended schedule, be sure to check your state regulations before planning your curriculum. Many states require that homeschooled children learn on the same 40-week schedule as their public school counterparts. In states without such regulations, you will have more flexibility in planning the schedule.
    • Be flexible with your curriculum. There are new ideas coming out all the time, and you will change as you learn about different techniques. Be ready to go with whatever comes your way. You will slowly but surely discover what is right for you and your children, and everyone will benefit as a result.
    • It is okay to use computers when homeschooling your children, do not completely rely on them. As you probably already know, computers are very prone to problems like viruses and freezes. Because of these problems, it is important that you continue to use textbooks and other physical materials as well.

    Conclusion:

Prior to beginning the homeschooling process, get a handle on your method of discipline. Do you think it will be sufficient as you move into the role of a teacher? Will you need to change things up a little bit? If so, go ahead and do that as soon as possible. It is much harder to institute new policies after you begin. Start strong. Whatever dreams your children may have for their future, they cannot possibly be achieved without a solid education. Apply these tips to your school at home, and your children will have a great chance in achieving whatever they want.

Things You Must Do In Order To Properly Homeschool Your Kids

In fact, it is much more difficult to teach a child yourself than to have them enroll in a traditional school setting. Here are several tips that will make the process a lot simpler for you. When your child has a question, don’t answer it immediately! Show them how to research the answer on their own, so they can know how to do it when you’re not around. There are many websites offering simple information which children of any age could understand, so point them in that direction.

    Tips to consider:

    1. Just because you follow a curriculum from another source, does not mean you must follow it to the letter. There are often going to be parts of a curriculum that do not suit your child’s learning style or schedule. Be flexible with a curriculum and do not be afraid to drop those parts that are not fitting for your educational plan.
    2. The Internet is an amazing homeschooling resource. There are numerous resources to be found on the Internet. Many are free, very cheap or require a nominal subscription. Take advantage on any trial offers and weigh each resource on its merits. Homeschooling forums will also offer you unparalleled advice when you are facing challenges with homeschooling.

    4. Be sure that you learn what your state’s requirements are in regard to homeschooling. This will ensures you to remain in compliance in the grade level that you are teaching and fulfill the number of hours that you must teach. When you are not in compliance, you risk your child’s ability to get accepted into college.
    5. Keep at it even if you feel like throwing in the towel. It takes time to develop a plan that works for both, you and your child. Many new homeschoolers give up too soon because they feel overwhelmed in the beginning, but after a year most homeschooling parents have settled in and enjoy homeschooling their children.
    6. Write down you rationales. Although you may have a clear understanding of why they should be homeschooled, your spouse may not. Write down the goals for your school, the reasons you think this is important and questions that you hope to find answers to. Homeschooling will be easier if you can justify your decision and know exactly where you are going.
    7. Do not purchase materials that are not returnable. You do not want to spend good money on material and find that the curriculum is nothing like advertised. Many quality programs will allow you a trial period before you have to keep the books and materials. Look into the return policy prior to making any purchase.
    8. If you have a hard time with schedules, try using routines. Schedules generally involve plans that are timed, while routines are generally habitual procedures. If scheduling doesn’t work for you, try implementing a routine with basic guidelines. They don’t need to be done in a particular order or at specific times, but they can be used to make a list for completing your daily tasks.
    9. If you are homeschooling a high schooler, then you know the ultimate goal is for them to pass the GED exam. There are many practice courses for the GED or for SATs to help your student know what to expect and how to prepare. This will show you the areas they are weak in.

    2. Give your kids the same responsibilities they would have if they had to get off to school every day. They should have all their chores done by the time school starts, including teeth being brushed, being out of pajamas and dressed and breakfast having been eaten. Don’t forget to get them to clean up their dishes, too!
    3. Hands-on practice is very important for your child’s learning process. When learning about certain cultures, make native foods and items that are unique with your child. When studying Stalin, you can incorporate cabbage rolls and perogies into your menus. When exposing them to Napoleon, have them create a menu of French foods. If your use all of the senses to learn they will gain more information.
    4. Remember to spend time with your family outside of the classroom. You might believe that all the time you spend together in the classroom is enough, but it really is not. Family nights are an opportunity for the family to get together without the pressures of the classroom, and bring you all closer together.
    5. Offer your children incentives from completing their lessons. This can be extra free time, less homework or even additional television time. By using incentives, you can help your child learn the importance of completing their tasks and how it will relate to working in the real world when they grow up.
    6. The goal of homeschooling is to instill knowledge in your child or teen, but it should also be viewed as something more. You have a rare opportunity to use learning as a means of bonding and interacting with each other in a way most parents never get. Highlight the student’s accomplishments in your “classroom’ just as you would for those earned in a traditional learning environment.
    7. Keep at it even if you feel like throwing in the towel. It takes time to develop a plan that works for both, you and your child. Many new homeschoolers give up too soon because they feel overwhelmed in the beginning, but after a year most homeschooling parents have settled in and enjoy homeschooling their children.
    8. Divide your lessons in different units to help your student process the information. Using this method, one topic is focused on at any given time. The topic can be delved into much deeper this way. You could have a six-week study in classical music, for example. Once you have completed this time period, finish off the topic by enjoying a live performance to demonstrate the importance of this art. This will make learning both fun and exciting.
    9. Don’t fear getting help for housework when homeschooling. Adding an extra responsibility like homeschooling may mean that you need to delegate some of your household chores to another person. This other person could be another family member or even a friend. If you can afford it, there are maid and cleaning services that you can look at.

    Closing Lines:

Teach your children Latin and Greek root words. So much of the English language is rooted in these two. Your children will gain a greater comprehension of the words they see and hear. It will also help them on college testing. Understanding how language works is beneficial in a number of every day applications. Children that are taught at home may have a different grasp of certain subjects, but that does not mean they cannot grow up to be productive members of society. Do your best to teach them all you know in a way that speaks to them. All of the advice here should make that much easier to do.
